What this site does

Career Compass JA helps Jamaican students explore careers, compare salaries, check CSEC/CAPE subject requirements, and find accredited programmes at local institutions — all in one place. It's the web companion to the Career Compass JA Android app.

Where the information comes from

Salary figures, public-sector pay scales, tuition, entry requirements and accreditation details are compiled from publicly available sources, including the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service salary scales, Ministry of Health notices, the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ), and institution websites.

Privacy on this website

There are no accounts, and the site never asks for your name, email, phone number or location.

Your quiz answers, saved careers, roadmap, subjects, deadlines and theme are stored only in this browser (local storage). We can't see them. Clearing your browser's site data — or the button below — removes them.

To show the page, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and school logos from each institution's own website; like any web request, those services receive your IP address.
